Rotoscoping

What is "Rotoscoping"?
Rotoscoping is an animation technique in which the animator uses real footage to create animations that move realistically, even if the art style is not realistic at all. After Seeing Casino Royale, I was impressed and intrigued by the art style used in the opening credits. I thought it was a really cool effect, so I tried to replicate it on my own, and this is the result. I think it turned out pretty well myself, but I have yet to find a situation to use this type of animation in a video or film. Also, due to the nature of animation, each frame must be draw separately by hand, which takes a long time to do, making it impractical for long sequences.
